Precision Tune-Up Check List

 

  1. Inspect pilot assembly and orifice.

  2. Inspect gas valve.

  3. Lubricate blower motor.

  4. Inspect blower belt and wheel.

  5. Inspect and adjust manifold gas pressure, if needed.

  6. Inspect low voltage wiring.

  7. Check safety controls.

  8. Inspect flue condition and draft.

  9. Inspect electrical connections.

  10. Camera inspect heat exchanger.

  11. Clean dirt and dust from burner compartment.

  12. Adjust combustion air.

  13. Confirm proper thermostat operation and calibrate, if needed.

  14. Inspect flame-proving sensor.

  15. Inspect duct condition and air flow.

  16. Inspect air filter.

  17. Inspect all drain lines in high efficiency units.

  18. Inspect furnace for gas and oil leaks.

  19. Clean exterior of outdoor unit.

  20. Check temperature rise.

  21. Provide customer with a written estimate of repairs, if needed.
